We understand environmental protection as the careful and conscious use of our planet’s resources, minimizing the health impact on our employees, taking into account the interests of our neighbors, reducing possible emissions from our factory premises, the long-term optimization of our energy use and the development of environmentally friendly products.<\/p>\n

Environmental protection is firmly anchored in our corporate policy as a holistic, integrated element, is an integral part of all our activities and influences management, development and investment decisions.<\/p>\n

Our environmental policy is binding for all EB employees, suppliers and external companies.<\/p>\n

Compliance with and implementation of binding obligations, whether in environmental protection or occupational health and safety, whether specified by customers or ourselves, is a matter of course for us. In order to ensure compliance with legal and official regulations, we monitor the processes and the implementation of new legal regulations in our company.
Our environmental management system has been certified in accordance with the international standard DIN EN ISO 14 001 since 2003 and our energy management system has been certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50 001 since 2011. Our company has been subject to European emissions trading since January 2013.<\/p>\n
